Embarking on her musical journey in Shenzhen at the age of three under her father’s guidance, Dai Rongxi laid the foundation for a distinguished artistic path. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), having attended on a full scholarship. There, she studied under the mentorship of the Professor Eleanor Wong and Mr. Yury Shadrin, Head of Keyboard. She will be a Masters student at the HKAPA in the coming September. To refine her artistry, Dai has actively participated in masterclasses led by internationally acclaimed artists, including Professors Ronan O’Hora, Chee Su Yen, and Ijia Scheps. As an emerging pianist on the international stage, she has begun to garner significant recognition, most notably achieving Second Prize in the 31st Young Musician International Competition ‘Citta di Barletta’ (Piano, Category E) in 2021.
