黄出生於香港，是一位中提琴手和小提琴手，畢業於香港演藝學院，師從昂錦猶博士，主修中提琴演奏，並獲香港愛樂團獎學金和萬瑞庭音樂基金獎學金，現為香港演藝學院青少年音樂課程樂團助理。黃氏樂團演出經驗豐富，在 2023 年獲選為亞洲青年管弦樂團中提琴首席。黃氏現為多個樂團的特約樂手，包括香港城市室樂團、香港弦樂團、Cantabile Symphony Orchestra、馬勒樂團等等。他亦曾策劃一個以巴洛克音樂為主題的表演，在宴會上演出，並獲南華早報報道。他曾經與紐約愛樂樂團首席黃欣、博羅美奧弦樂四重奏和 TwoSet Violin 同台演出。黃氏曾到奧地利、保加利亞、意大利、德國、匈牙利、泰國、台灣、韓國、日本及中國演出，和在不同的音樂節演出和學習，他曾經參加 Allegra Festival、Virtuoso & BelcantoFestival、薩爾茲堡莫札特大學音樂營、Young Euro Classic 和 Mosel Musikfestival。他亦有幸參加知名音樂家的大師班、如梅第揚、Roberto Díaz、Lawrence Power, Adrien La Marca、IdaKavafian、Steve Tenenbom、Öykü Canpolat-Rast、Thomas Riebl、Wenting Kang、Paul Cortese、Alain Meunier、Luc-Marie Aguera、Adrian Brendel、Jan Bjøranger、Eckart Runge、Benny Kim、Toko Inomoto、Domas Juškys、Leo Philips 和 Kertész István。同時，黃氏亦熱衷於流行音樂，曾在李克勤、陳蕾、RubberBand 演唱會中亮相，和在音樂劇《深閨大宅》擔任中提琴獨奏，並為 per se 錄製的《記憶之流(poetic period ver.)》擔任小提琴手。 Wong, a Hong Kong-born violist and violinist, graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where he majored in viola performance under the tutelage of Dr. Felix Ungar. He has been the recipient of the SAR Philharmonic Scholarship and Bernard van Zuiden Music Fund Scholarship. He is now the HKAPA Junior Music Programme orchestra assistant.He has extensive experience playing in orchestras and was elected as principal violist in the Asian Youth Orchestra 2023. He is now a freelance musician, performing with various orchestras, including the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong String Orchestra, the Cantabile Symphony Orchestra and the Gustav Mahler Orchestra, etc. He also organised a performance of baroque music and performed at a banquet that was featured in the South China Morning Post. He has also performed with renowned musicians such as New York Philharmonic Concertmaster Frank Huang, Borromeo String Quartet, andTwoSet Violin.In addition, he has performed in Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and China. He has joined a variety of distinguished music festivals, including the Allegra Festival, the Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival, the Mozarteum International Summer Academy, the Young Euro Classic and the Mosel Musikfestival. He has also participated in masterclasses led by renowned musicians such as Diyang Mei, Roberto Díaz, Lawrence Power, Adrien La Marca, Ida Kavafian, Steve Tenenbom, Ö yküCanpolat-Rast, Thomas Riebl, Wenting Kang, Paul Cortese, Alain Meunier, Luc-Marie Aguera, Adrian Brendel, Jan Bjøranger, Eckart Runge, Benny Kim, Toko Inomoto, Domas Juškys, Leo Philips and Kertész István.In addition to his classical music commitments, he has a keen interest in popular music and has performed on stage at the Concert of Hacken Lee, Panther Chan and RubberBand. He also performed in the musical 'Bernarda Alba' as a solo violist. In addition to that, as a violinist, he also record the music for the Hong Kong poetic pop group PER SE for their album.
