Johnny Sir

Hong Kong collaborative pianist Johnny Pun (潘雋禮) holds a Master of Performance in Piano with Distinction from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he studied under Philip Jenkins, Iain Burnside and Caroline Palmer. He graduated with First Class Honours from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and is a recipient of the Guildhall School Scholarship, the Hong Kong British Council IELTS Prize, and the HKBU CIE Scholarship. Johnny's passion for piano accompaniment began at the age of ten, when he was recruited as a pianist for the PLK Camões Tan Siu Lin Primary School's Senior and Intermediate Choir, taking part in the Busan Choral Festival. Following his master's degree, he established himself as one of the few dedicated pianists in Hong Kong who works exclusively with instrumentalists and vocalists for performances, competitions, and examinations. Johnny has extensive experience collaborating with a wide range of instrumentalists, vocalists, and choirs. He makes regular appearances in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival; over the past three years, he has worked with more than 30 competitors in the festival annually, contributing to numerous prize-winning performances in the flute, saxophone, harmonica, vocal, French horn, and trumpet categories. He is particularly well known within the harmonica community, where he has played a pivotal role in numerous victories alongside his stage partners in major festivals and competitions worldwide since 2018. Among these achievements is the recent "World Champion" title won by Matthew Yip in Germany in 2025, a milestone that was widely reported and celebrated by Hong Kong media. Johnny is also very experienced in providing accompaniment services for ABRSM and Trinity College London music exams, and has aided countless instrumental students attain ARSM / ACTL and LRSM / LTCL qualifications. Beyond the stage, Johnny is committed to nurturing and expanding Hong Kong's collaborative music scene. Together with Mr. Alan Chu, he co-founded the International Association of Collaborative Musicians, organising chamber music concerts featuring artists from the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2025, they masterminded and organised the Erik Satie 100th Anniversary Piano Marathon, which broke the Guinness World Record for the "Most musicians to play the same piano in relay". In recognition of his achievements, Johnny was invited by the Hong Kong British Council as a guest speaker to share his story at its 75th Anniversary Reception. Since 2024, he has served as a permanent jury member for the Hong Kong Promotion of Performing Arts Festival and the Hong Kong Arts Competition. His performances and work have been featured on television and radio, including RTHK TV, RTHK 4, RTHK 3, TVB, i-Cable News, TDM Macau, as well as in press outlets such as the South China Morning Post and Sing Tao Headline. In Summer 2026, Johnny is scheduled to perform at music festivals in Estonia in June, South Korea in July and Belgium in August. 香港合作鋼琴家潘雋禮（Johnny Pun）以優異成績取得倫敦市政廳音樂及戲劇學院鋼琴演奏碩士學位，師從 Philip Jenkins、Iain Burnside 及 Caroline Palmer。他以一級榮譽畢業於香港浸會大學，並曾獲市政廳學校獎學金、香港英國文化協會雅思獎金及浸大卓越獎學金。 Johnny 對鋼琴伴奏的熱忱始於十歲那年，當時他獲邀擔任保良局陳守仁小學高級及中級合唱團的鋼琴伴奏，並隨團參與釜山合唱節。完成碩士學位後，他確立了自己作為香港少數專注於與器樂家和聲樂家合作的鋼琴家之一，專門為演出、比賽及考試提供伴奏服務。 Johnny 擁有與各類器樂家、聲樂家及合唱團合作的豐富經驗。他經常於香港學校音樂節中亮相；在過去三年，他每年均與音樂節中超過三十位參賽者合作，協助他們在長笛、薩克斯管、口琴、聲樂、法國號及小號等項目中奪得佳績。他在口琴社群中尤其聞名，自 2018 年起，他與舞台夥伴在世界各地的重大音樂節及比賽中屢獲殊榮，其中最近的成就包括葉進禧（Matthew Yip）於 2025 年在德國奪得「世界冠軍」殊榮，此里程碑獲香港媒體廣泛報導及讚譽。Johnny 亦擁有豐富的 ABRSM 及倫敦聖三一學院音樂考試伴奏經驗，曾協助無數器樂學生考獲 ARSM／ACTL 及 LRSM／LTCL 文憑資格。 在舞台之外，Johnny 亦致力於培育及拓展香港的合作音樂領域。他與 Alan Chu 先生共同創辦了「國際音樂合奏家協會」，舉辦室內音樂會，邀請香港小交響樂團及香港管弦樂團的演奏家參與。2025 年，他們共同策劃及組織了「薩提 100 週年鋼琴馬拉松」，該活動打破了「最多音樂家以接力方式演奏同一部鋼琴」的健力士世界紀錄。憑藉其成就，Johnny 獲香港英國文化協會邀請，在其 75 週年招待會上擔任嘉賓講者，分享他的故事。自 2024 年起，他擔任香港藝術推廣節及香港藝術比賽的常任評審。他的演出及工作曾獲電視及電台報導，包括港台電視、RTHK 4、RTHK 3、無綫電視、有線新聞、澳廣視，以及《南華早報》和《頭條日報》等新聞媒體。 2026 年夏季，Johnny 將應邀參與多個音樂節的演出，包括六月的愛沙尼亞、七月及八月的南韓與比利時。
